This is a painting I made in ZBrush while trying out its 2.5D brushes. It is in fact a single painting. This page presents a layout composed of 4 copies of the original painting, each copy is cropped to frame over a slightly different area.
The layout and framing reminds me of the anxious feeling of deciding what to include in the frame when taking photos of a landscape.
